Last Saturday, which up until now has been my usual weekly weigh day, I was so very disappointed. I had lost nothing in the previous 7 days and I was very worried that, as has been normal with me, I was stuck once again.
I had been so very good, with absolutely no cheating, except for one single Hot Cross Bun on the previous Wednesday. I had watched others on myfitnesspal on the same diet loose many pounds during the same time. But, I wasn't going to let that stop me and I ploughed on.
On weighing myself yesterday I found that I had lost a little in the following days. Not much, just over a lbs in fact, but that meant through the whole of January I have lost 4lbs. Now compared to the 6 or 7lbs per week that others are losing it doesn't seem a lot, but for me it's a miracle.
What makes it even more exciting is, that I am now down passed the 133lbs which takes me back over the border into my safe BMI zone. Not only that but going by the safety zone of how large ones waist should be, it brought me out of "Take Action" and into "Consider Action".
Throughout the 14 days that I have been on the BSD I have felt fit and healthy along with sleeping well. Neither have I been hungry to speak of. Except the last 2 days of that 14.
Having suffered with IBS for a while now I was surprised to go 12 days on a strict diet with no signs of it. But on the 13th day I had a very bad bout. I believe this was down to the fact that I had over indulged in the broccoli the day before. Broccoli, although I love it, has never been my friend due to it containing so much roughage. But lesson learned. I will still be eating broccoli, but in more moderation and topping up the plate with more of the other vegetables.
The long and short of it is, that I am very happy with how much weight I have lost last month.
