I now need to get stuck in again after this fortnight of eating willy nilly. And of course the weather has been ridiculously bad with all the gales and rain that it's been impossible to get out and about for some decent exercise.
I watched a really good programme on TV last night. It was mostly about how our food is not as good as it was back in the 50s, which is when I was brought up, and how all these so called low fat products are in fact making us fatter due to them removing the fat but adding sugar. It's sugar that causes fat to set itself around our bellys.
Some of the foods that we have been told in the last 50 years are bad for us are in fact more healthy than their replacements.
Over the course of the next few days as my food cupboard and fridge empties I will be replacing those foods with foods that I used to eat before so called scientists messed with not only our food but also our heads.
